SSIS Parents Support Group (SSIS PSG)
At SSIS, we recognize that parents play an important role in the successful participation of their child’s life in school. Led by an Executive Committee, the Parent Support Group is being organized to enhance and enrich the student experience at SSIS with the aim of better equip our students to face future challenges.
To benefit the students, the PSG will organize events and activities, which may be academic or social in nature, that are beyond the current regular curriculum and co-curriculum scope offered by school. All activities and events planned will be presented to the SSIS Senior Management Team for communication, approval, and support purposes.
Organisation
The Executive Committee consists of Office holders including a President, 2 Vice-presidents (One representative from school), a Treasurer, a Secretariat Team and members holding key roles like Parents Representatives for the respective grade levels. Several Sub committees are also formed and each focuses on particular functions and consists of a leader and contributing members. The number of Sub Committees is not fixed and may be changed according to needs. The Executive Committee will organize meetings and communicate meeting dates to the general SSIS parent population. All SSIS parents are encouraged to be an active member of the School's PSG.
