Student Achievements

Shanghai Singapore International School is committed to offering a balanced and holistic education that not only prepares our students well academically, but also in extra curricular activities of which there are many to chose from.

We are dedicated to maximizing and acknowledging learning and individual growth, and assisting students in their development of positive self-images.

Our students are high achievers in many areas, and every year they take part in competitions inside and outside the school.

WU, Jin Yu Evita, Grade 8 Pearl, won 3rd place in the Hurricane Junior Open Golf Tournament in Florida, USA

SUMAL, Gouri, Grade 7 Ruby, was the winner in the “most popular” category of City Weekend Art competition 2015/2016, in 9-13 age group.

LEE, Ting Wei, Debbie, Grade 6 Ruby (XuHui), is one of the only 12 winners for the 16th Annual ParkwayHealth Art Calendar Contest 2016. She also received ‘honorable mention’ at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 9-13 age group.

PARK, Hyo Jeong, Grade 6 Ruby, a nominees at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 4-8 age group.

KIM, YeSung, Grade 4 Pearl, a nominees at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 4-8 age group.

LU, Yu Chen, Grade 4 Pearl, a nominees at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 4-8 age group.

KIM, Ye Won, Grade 6 Ruby, received “honorable mention” at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 4-8 age group.

CHOW, Vicki Jayne, Grade 6 Ivory, a nominees at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 4-8 age group.

CALATAYUD MATEU, Paula Grade 6 Ivory, was one of the nominees at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 4-8 age group.

KOK, Solene Lianyi, Grade 6 Ruby, a nominees at the City Weekend Art Competition 2015/2016 in 9-13 age group.

WONG, Yik Kiu Edith, Grade 5 Amber, a nominees for the 2016 Hong Kong Young Writers Competition.

IMMANENI, Venkata Sai Naga Karthik, Grade 9 Amber 1, a nominees for the 2016 Hong Kong Young Writers Competition.

LEE, Hao Kai Bryan, Grade 8 Amber 1, a nominees for the 2016 Hong Kong Young Writers Competition.

DORLE, Soham Samir , Grade 7 Diamond 1, a nominees for the 2016 Hong Kong Young Writers Competition.

MARTIN, Baptiste Jean Bernard, Grade 7 Diamond 4, a nominees for the 2016 Hong Kong Young Writers Competition.

KAWAMOTO, Rinko, Grade 8 Sapphire 3, is one of the nominees for the 2016 Hong Kong Young Writers Competition.

OGURA, Manaka, Grade 2 Amber, performed at Nana ballet school performance 2014 and 2016. She danced the cupid variation from Don Quixote.
