What better way to learn than to do it while playing and having fun?
01Water PlayThe Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes have water play as a weekly activity when the weather permits. Playing with water allows our students to enhance various fine motor and social skills.
Fine motor skills such as eye hand coordination are constantly reinforced as children fill and empty containers when they perform the scooping and pouring action. Water play provides many opportunities for children to develop and hone social skills when they work with one another as a group.
It is a great way for children to learn how to share and take turns as they need to work within the physical space and exchange play items with each other.
02K2 LEARNING CENTREThe implementation of learning centres for K2 children enhances their learning in the different areas of development. Purposeful activities are planned for each learning centre, namely English, Math, Reading, Chinese and Cooking, so that the children can experience and be exposed to different skills.
Besides serving as a great opportunity for the children to meet and interact with more friends and teachers, this structure is also beneficial for children who need help and encouragement in approaching or interacting with others. In addition, small group activities encourage children to be more expressive and that builds up their confidence and self-esteem.
