An excerpt of her article:

I, Ming, look below through the ocean waters,

Within the wink of an eye, I could see,

The most picturesque of the fishes,

The most flawlessly carved corals,

The lushest of the seaweeds,

And the most idealistic pink-sunset above it.

Zheng He, the hero of them all,

Speaks for all of us as one,

To dream beyond the deepest oceans,

And for them to glide over the highest clouds,

The sights we visit in our 7 voyages,

Are the ones we lock with us, forever.

XH Grade 6 Ruby

An excerpt of her article:

Yes, my sense was right! I saw three men trying to steal the boxes of gifts we had received from other countries! I bit, zonked and scratched like never before and the men yelped like a lion had bitten them. They screamed and yelped until the soldiers came. The three pirates, dazed, hobbled up the stairs, with a look of regret on their dirty faces. When all the sailors and pirates saw the three caught ones, they gasped in shock and were suddenly speechless.
