Why We’re “Addicted” to Drama: Student Growth in Home Alone

Following the Winter Magic Christmas tree lighting, SSIS Senior School proudly presented a fresh adaptation of Home Alone in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Beyond acting, students took on directing, sound, lighting, props, and set design — immersing themselves fully in the production process.

Rehearsals echoed with the call of “Again!”, yet on show night, there were no retakes. It was in these one‑time moments that we witnessed a different kind of “addiction” — one rooted in passion, ownership, and growth.

As the final bow was taken, the learning continued. We choose to support and value this “addiction” — because it represents one of the most meaningful aspects of education.

We wish our whole community a warm and joyful Christmas season.

Let’s applaud all cast and crew members for their outstanding dedication and performance!
