At Shanghai Singapore International School, we believe that our strength as a learning community is built on collaboration and shared expertise. As we look to the future, guided by our Strategic Plan and its commitment to innovation, ethical technology use, and holistic education and we recognise the invaluable role that our parent community plays in shaping this journey.
We are excited to invite expressions of interest for a new Technology Future Advisory Team. This group will provide strategic insight and practical guidance as we navigate the evolving landscape of digital learning, artificial intelligence, and educational technology.
The Advisory Team will work closely with school leadership and the Technology Task Force to:
· Advise on the integration of technology in alignment with our Teaching & Learning and Technology goals.
· Explore ethical frameworks for AI use that support student wellbeing and academic integrity.
· Help shape policies and practices that ensure safe, innovative, and future-focused learning environments.
· Connect SSIS with industry trends and professional expertise.
We are seeking parents who have professional expertise or significant experience in technology-related fields, such as:
· AI and machine learning
· EdTech and digital innovation
· Data privacy and cybersecurity
· Digital ethics and citizenship – include law
· Technology integration and implementation
The commitment will include approximately 3–4 meetings per year, both in-person or online, along with occasional email correspondence.
