I hope this newsletter finds you all in good health and high spirits as we reflect on recent festivities and look forward to exciting upcoming events.
Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival:
On September 25th, we celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival! It was a joyous occasion filled with colourful lanterns, beautiful costumes, happy singing, delicious mooncakes, and a special play put on by the teachers and students! The Mid-autumn festival fosters cultural understanding and we are proud to foster an environment that values traditions.
Autumn Excursions (October 19th and 20th):
As part of our commitment to providing inquiry-based learning, autumn excursions are happening next week! Excursions provide a valuable opportunity for students to discover the world beyond the classroom, deepen their understanding and authentically explore. We encourage parents to ask questions about what your child is learning at school and brainstorm what they might see at the farm, zoo or pizza shop!
NatureFest (October 27th) :
Nature and discovery learning are integral aspects of our educational philosophy. In line with this, we are delighted to invite all students, parents, and staff to our 2nd annual NatureFest. This Preschool community event is a celebration of the natural world and an opportunity for our families to engage and explore together. NatureFest will have games, crafts, picnicing and outdoor activities that encourage curiosity and a love for nature. We encourage all families to join us on Friday, October 27th from 15:00-18:00 on the field for an evening of colourful camping and fun! Sign up via your class WeCom groups!
