At SSIS, we implement holistic assessment methods beyond traditional pen-and-paper examinations. Formative and summative assessment methods provide valuable feedback and support the holistic development and education of our students.
- For students in Grades 1-3, we do not have end-of-year examinations. Instead, we implement a range of assessments that include topical tests, projects, class work and more to assess understanding and individual student progress.
- Moving on to Grades 4-6, in addition to topical assessments, our students will have end-of-year exams for English, Mathematics, Science and Chinese. These exams are carefully crafted and administered by our team of specialist teachers who ensure the validity and reliability of the assessments.
