Dear Parents,
With great excitement, I would like to announce that next year I will take on the dual role of Primary Division Principal and Head of School.
我非常激动地宣布：新学年，我将同时担任总校长和小学部校长两项职务。
Considering the needs of the Primary Division this transition will enable me to support staff, students and families and take on a more hands-on role in the educational programme of the Primary Division while overseeing the whole school. This model will also allow us to widen our search and take a more considered and long-term approach in creating a supportive pathway for our next Primary Principal.
在综合评估小学部的需求后，我相信，这样的过渡性人事安排有助于我给予教职工、学生、家庭更充分的支持，在领导全校的同时，更为小学部提供切实有效的管理。与此同时，我们仍继续寻找下一任小学部校长的合适人员，这是学校的一项慎重而长远的规划，过渡性的人事安排也有利于未来小学部校长的工作衔接。
Over the last two years, I have established strong working relationships with both the CLT and the school board. These important whole-school relationships have enabled me to feel confident in assuming the dual role of Primary Principal and Head of School next year. As Head of School, I am the source of communication between the Board and the senior leadership of the school, and I feel this element will help strengthen and promote the Primary Division. I also believe that my appointment will allow for a more seamless transition between the three divisions of the school. This is one of our key strategic thrusts.
在过去的两年里，我与SSIS核心领导团队、校董会建立了和谐紧密的工作关系。同事间的鼎力支持鼓励我勇担小学部校长和总校长的双重角色。作为总校长，我是校董会和学校高层领导之间的沟通桥梁，这一点，将十分有助于小学部的高质量发展，也有助于实现三个学部之间的无缝衔接。这也是学校的一项重要发展规划。
Prior to being a Head of school, I had many years of experience as a Primary educator and Primary Principal. I also have previously assumed similar roles at other international schools. With this invaluable knowledge and experience, I feel very confident that our Primary Division and our whole school can continue to grow and flourish. In fact, I can’t wait for next year!
在担任总校长之前，我已有多年的小学教育和小学校长经验，并也曾在其他国际学校担任过相关职务。凭借这些宝贵的知识和经验，我相信能够带领SSIS及其小学部继续迈向美好的未来。我已做好准备，迫不及待地迎接新学年的到来！
