T3W12 – 9 June 2023
Dear Parents,
What a year! During this Academic Year 2022-2023, SSIS Student Services Team aimed to provide students with the resources and support they need for a successful school year. We appreciate every divisional faculty and administrator for creating a safe and supportive learning environment and assisting students struggling with time management, organisation, and other executive functioning skills. With the collaboration from parents and families, students could thrive and succeed socially, emotionally, and academically during the year.
We would love to receive feedback from the families who have received our services this year. Your opinion is valuable to us, and your insights will help us improve our services and understand how we can better serve you in the future. We have created a survey that is available in both English and Chinese. You can access the survey link and the QR code below to get started. We thank you for your time and appreciate your feedback!

With the summer approaching, it is important for students to continue developing their executive functioning and social-emotional learning (SEL) skills. One way to help students develop executive functioning skills is to have them create a summer schedule. Setting a daily schedule will help students prioritise tasks, manage their time, and stay on track with their summer activities. Additionally, allowing students to have play dates and participate in sports can help them practice SEL skills such as empathy, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Another great way to keep students’ executive functioning and SEL skills sharp during the summer is to have them participate in summer programs. Summer camps, community service projects, and enrichment classes provide excellent opportunities for students to develop their executive functioning and SEL skills in a fun and engaging environment. Such activities allow students to practice problem-solving, time management, communication, and collaboration while having fun. Spend the summer connecting with your children, happy holidays!!
