T2W6 – 13 Jan 2023
Dear Families,
It has been wonderful seeing our young learners back to normal routines this week! At our weekly assembly on Monday, we celebrated our return and applauded our students’ resilience and participation during the distance learning period. I, personally, feel so proud of each and every student, and family. Since December 2019, we have navigated numerous unexpected situations. For our Preschoolers, this means much of their life. Now, it is a new start for a city we love and a New Year. I feel very optimistic for what is to come for our Preschoolers and our families. I wish you and yours a joyous and peaceful Chinese New Year holiday!
Upcoming:
- Chinese New Year Celebration: We will be celebrating the Year of the Rabbit as a school and a division next Wednesday, January 18th, with an array of performances, games and activities.
- After School Programmes: We launch K2 ASPs on January 31st ! We are very excited to be offering ASPs for the first time in Preschool. The fun and learning of SSIS never stops!
- Poetry Festival: The annual Poetry Reading contest and a fun-filled Poetry assembly are in the works for early February. We are excited to bring some rhyme to Preschool to expand the literary experiences of our young learners.
Kind Regards,
Sonia Barghani, Ed.D.
