On November 3, the SSIS Sabres Golf Team showcased their exceptional skills and sportsmanship at the 3rd Ganso Golf4Hearts Charity Fundraiser, held at the Shanghai West Golf Club. Charity golf events are popular and these successful fundraising opportunities have benefited many deserving causes. This event was no different, with a great turn-out and the funds raised to help bring life-saving medical care to underprivileged children.
Our students performed admirably with senior school student Forbes HSIEH’s team leading the juniors with a score 64 (-8) in scramble golf format and taking home 1st place for the junior golf category. Additionally, the dynamic duo of SSIS primary students, Ella XU and Polly KUAN, teamed up to shoot a commendable 78 (+6).

As winter approaches, the Sabres Golf Team eagerly anticipates their next event, the SSSA Campus Golf League taking place on November 26th at the Shanghai Xiehe Golf Club. It promises to be another thrilling competition that will showcase the team’s dedication and skill.
