T2W13 – 10 March 2023
Dear SSIS Community,
Thank you as always for your support regarding our updated fever policy for this period of time. As a school, we are required to report the causes of all fever cases to the authorities on a daily basis. The medical information that you provide goes a long way in keeping our community safe and allowing us to take early preventative actions.
Also, for the safety of our students, our security staff typically combs the school grounds during after-school hours and will ask all students to go home if they are unsupervised. This is a gentle reminder to all students and parents that by 17:15 each school day, unsupervised students will be asked to leave the school. They can then wait at the security office for their transportation to arrive. From Monday (13 March) onwards, there will be a bell at 17:15 to remind them too.
We would also like to seek your understanding to wear your Parent ID tag or pink visitor tag visibly whenever you enter the school. This will help us to identify all community members and ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday, 18 March for the Student-Led Conference Day as our students report to school as per normal.
Stronger Together
Yours sincerely,
