T3W8 – 12 May 2023
Dear SSIS Parents,
As we approach the final weeks of the school year, you will find that on top of the preparations for exams and the invigilation of exams, there are still many activities and events that will be taking place right up to the very last day of school. Do look out for these dates and we look forward to having you with us.
With the change in season, the temperatures have been quite erratic, with a large temperature difference of more than 10 degrees on certain days. On these days, we recommend our students to wear a light jacket to stave off the morning chill. Also, with the seasonal changes, we do find some students prone to catching a cold etc.
A healthy diet, sufficient rest and appropriate physical activity for your child will be key for keeping them in good shape. Adopting healthy habits like frequent handwashing and mask-wearing also do help keep our kids strong and healthy. If your child is unwell, especially with fever symptoms, please keep your child at home so that your child can have the necessary rest to fully recover before returning to school. This act will also prevent the spread of any virus in the class or school.
We thank all parents for their kind consideration, and we would like to take this opportunity to wish all mothers a Blessed and Happy Mother’s Day!
Yours sincerely,
