Dear Parents,
After starting February with amazing Poetry Week celebrations, we have had an action-packed month. Last week, Ms. Mei and Ms. Grace, two of our experienced Early educators held an exciting Parent Education workshop on the importance of play. The active involvement and questions of attendees were fantastic! Stronger together!
This Tuesday we had our 100 Days of School celebration where students celebrated this milestone with a special assembly, a large-scale scavenger hunt, and whole-division picture story mural making. It was all smiles as our young learners put their artistic, fine motor, and writing skills to use and enjoyed this special day!
We also had our K1 Bamboo Featured Assembly this week. K1 Bamboo students performed for their peers and were joined by parents for a unique parent-child activity. Establishing close relationships and working with our families to support the development of our young learners is priceless!
Another key time to have our partners-in-action join us will be March 18th, Student-Led Conference Day. It will be a school day for students. We are preparing to invite families to join classes and have your child lead you through parts of their exciting SSIS learning journey.
