One of the goals of our Chinese Language and Chinese Culture Programme, is to pique students’ interest in the learning of reading and writing by providing multiple internal and external platforms to stretch their capabilities and shine.
In March, our Primary students took part in the “Look, this is My Picture Book” International School Chinese Picture Book Competition. Our students applied their Chinese language skills and creativity in this competition to compete with over one thousand other participants.
The competition welcomed both native and non-native Chinese speaking students to submit their picture books as individual or group entries. The competition offered three categories of award: General Excellence in Chinese Picture Book, Best Story Writing and Best Illustration.
We are glad to announce that 36 SSIS students received excellent results in the competition. We are truly proud of their outstanding creativity and efforts!
